"No well-controlled scientific test has confirmed the effectiveness of Radiesthesia" Were well-controlled scientific tests made ? I would like to see the results, even if inconclusive. I am neutral about the subject, I tend towards the fraud, but if it is just a fraud there should be some tests that should prouve that it is a fraude, or at least that there was no conclusion.

The only question here is: why this isn't officialy pronounced as fraud? (I mean - is government behind it (extra cache in their pockets or what?))
(I mean, there are non-educated people (there's always going to be stupid people...), but still it isn't moral to rob stupid people, no matter how much they are stupid or have certain tendentions to paranormal because of some severe psychological trauma (it isn't moral to missuse and benefit from other people's pain and misery (at least they should state that everything is free (no money envolved (or AT MOST some symbolic value (like 5$ - not a cent more for a whole thing))))))
Everywhere in the world - in every state on the Globe it must be said: "This is officialy in every sense confirmed as fraud. Wheither you will give money to those who claim that it's real, or not is a matter of your personal choice. Just take notice that actually it is your personal choice of wheither you will accept to be frauded and robbed of your money or not."
It shoud even be made law in every state of the world that frauders of this (and any similar) kind at least must show this warning text, so even stupid/traumatised people have a choice of weither to accept the robbery against them or not.

Here is what the old article said. The second part which was "confusing" was mainly confusing because the text was from another language that had been translated with a machine translator - so the grammar was appaling (e.g. Radiesthesia’s scope is the vary needs of human and environment. ). Not up to Wikipedia standards.

Radiesthesia is a practice similar to dowsing that is used for medical diagnosis. It uses a pendulum suspended above a patient. The nature of the swinging, and direction of rotation, is thought to indicate the person's ailment.
It was first developed in Europe in the eighteenth century after its birth in ancient egypt.
Later it was used to locate underground minerals and treasures.
Dr. Solcol W. Tromp wrote about this phenomenon in his book Psychical Physics, a 534 page book published in 1949. 700 titles in the bibliography of the book were devoted to dowsing and radiesthesia.
Dr. Tromp believed that every object in the world has a characteristic "aura", or electromagnetic field that can cause a sensitive person to be able to perform dowsing.
Although Dr. Tromp frowned on "long-distance radiesthesia", there is evidence that the German Navy attempted to use pendulums over large maps of the North Atlantic to locate battleships.
Gerald Gardner, in his book Witchcraft Today (pp.129), refers to his own anecdotal experiences with radiesthesia as evidence supporting the existence of "Witch Power."
There are still periodicals devoted to this phenomenon, such as monthly review, The Pendulum.

Radiesthesia is a general term of authority, which encloses many branches of positive sciences.
All of the living and non-living things radiate continuously in different wavelengths. Radiesthesia is the science of sensitivity which measures these wavelengths. Methodology and instruments (not only a pendulum) differ from all-known ones but the scope encloses all.
The terminology, “Radiesthesia” is dictated into the lexicon at the second half of 19.Century. Before, it is evaluated as a manner of mysticism. But in reality it is the oldest. Unfortunately, many vicious people try to abuse this knowledge. Prejudice behaviors and reactions (oral or written) are the evidences of ignorance and primitiveness. In academical organizations, it is frustrated designedly by the ruling administrations.
Radiesthesia’s scope is the vary needs of human and environment. Here, some of the subjects;

In Health topic; “Radiesthesical diagnosis”, “Radiesthesical microbiology”, “Radiesthesical genetic” are some of the subtopics. By these fields of study, to define the exact reasons of diseases and the real solutions is possible. To terminate the reasons and the results of the diseases, unless being revived is possible. To terminate the drug allergies caused by allergenic drug treatments is also possible. With the studies in Radiesthesia Laboratory, natural materials are collected and special electronic systems are invented. The Genetic Regeneration is done.
Today, Radiesthesia studies are administrated only by one center; a non-public, autonomous laboratory called “International Science of Radiesthesia Research Center”. The results of the studies are distributed to the adequate associations
The knowledge about radiasthesia is mostly wrong. Neither the writers, nor researchers have any knowledge or technicality about it. Defining radiesthesia as an “alternative medical solution” is lack of self-respect and appraisement to unknown.
Existing Medical System can’t produce any solutions because of the mistaken approach to diseases, trial and error methods and temporary surgical intervention. The genetic studies, without understanding the biological structure, are not far from failure. Radiesthesia warns humanity about medical therapies which promise addiction, numb or improvement in life quality as a solution.
The first, true source of genetic and health, is aimed to be published at the end of 2007.

At you very interesting discussion. In history it is discussion one century lasts not. When I was not able to apply a pendulum, I had no opinion concerning this phenomenon and was not interested. When I have learnt to use, have understood, that it works. Not always results are exact. The area of exact answers can be limited. The science cannot explain not only this phenomenon. In the scientific environment too there are charlatans and deceivers. A unique way to check up it to try most.Shatilov Konstantin (talk) 10:56, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
