Curriculum:

The revised curriculum for primary schools has been embraced enthusiastically by the teaching staff.They are implementing all new strategies and teaching styles, to encourage and develop each child's potential to the full. The subjects taught include: Gaeilge English Mathematics Science History Geography Religon Visual Arts Music Drama Physical Education Social Personal and Health Education.


Sport: In addition to the normal PE curriculum, we have a Camogie team, which is made up of girls from 4th to 6th classes. We have gone from success to success, winning the cup in our division in 2001 and 2002. We are now competing in the top division. Our athletes compete in the County School Sports, every year, and we have had success at various levels down through the years. Our tennis team competes in the local competition. During the year, every child from 1st to 6th class has swimming lessons at Leisureworld
