[edit] Yep

According to IMDB message boards, plus TheInside's boards, FOX has pulled the plug, the only question being whether or not it will show all 13 eps.

RACHEL IS HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excuse me User 24.43.93.148 but can I add a edit to your " Rachel is Hot comment"? Thief Lord 21:46, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

I guess.

[edit] Images

This article was becoming an image gallery, which is not only against Wikipedia policy but it messed up the formatting of the article something awful. There is really no need to have more than 2 images in an article this size, so I chose to keep the first image, and the image of her from her current project, Alias. I don't know if there's an article on The Inside but if there is any one of the images from that show (but, really, just one) could certainly be used there. 23skidoo 15:12, 5 November 2005 (UTC)

Hey, no explanation necessary; I went a little nuts with the images a few months ago. I'll fix The Inside as well. Davis21Wylie 12:31, 5 November 2005 (UTC)
The images weren't bad - I just thought there were too many. I didn't delete the image files themselves, so if you want to substitute other images for any of the ones I chose, please do. 23skidoo 19:00, 5 November 2005 (UTC)

"After the failed FOX series, it didn't take long for new employers to seek Nichols' services."

Um, perhaps we should phrase that in a way that isn't sexually suggestive?

It's been taken care of, plus the first part of the article is now subdivided a bit more for easier reading. — ArkansasTraveler 15:33, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] POV issues

This page has got way too much POV (remember WP:NPOV). I'm going to pair this down. Also, we have quotes attributed to Nichols that do not have sources attached to them. Remember this is an encyclopedia, not a fan site. 23skidoo 15:45, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

I also spotted a contradiction. At the start of the article it's said she studied psychology, yet in the trivia section it says she studied math and economics. Which was it? 23skidoo 15:56, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
I'm not sure, myself. As I was reading over the article, it smacked a bit of publicist-speak. Not that the article isn't valid itself, but I agree that the way it's presented is a bit irksome. — ArkansasTraveler 16:01, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
I have removed most if not all of the POV language from the article. I also removed the unsourced quote (I did keep the Minear quote in as the article acknowledges its source). But I noticed the article spends a lot of time saying things like "it comes as no surprise" and the like ... definite NPOV violations. The resulting article is shorter but more in keeping with Wikistyle. 23skidoo 16:10, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
Okay, I added sources (complete with cool footnotes!) for several of the quotes you guys were talking about, plus reformatted the article again to make it look cleaner... It said she was "intent" on studying psychology when she got to Columbia, but she changed majors along the way, so I added that part back in... I added some other statements from my earlier version, but made them totally NPOV, sorry about earlier. - Davis21Wylie 16:36, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
It's still got some POV, though. Phrases like "astonishingly enough" for example aren't NPOV. Also, you don't need to repeat the fact that she was born in Augusta as that's in the introduction, and saying it's Maine's capital city provides unnecessary detail. Cheers! 23skidoo 22:41, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] College Major

Was her major psychology or math and economics? Imdb says the latter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.151.135.24 (talk) 21:53, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
