[edit] Sixth former member of the group RABBIT

I looked at the list of former members of Rabbit (Mark Tinson, Phil Screen, Jim Porteus, Dave Evans and Greg Douglas) And David Hinds isn't listed! David Hinds joined the group in 1976 (Presumably) And played the guitar. If you want proof, Go onto www.youtube.com And type in "Rabbit Too much" And watch the too much rock and roll video. IF that is down, Type in "Rabbit Wild Fire" And watch that video. It is clear that there are five people in each video.

It also says on Dave evans' Personal site that David Hinds was in the group.

it should also be noted that their Too Much Rock'n Roll Single had a song called "Shake that thing" On the B side of the record. 67.140.39.131 05:41, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Three members went to play in "The Heroes"

Three of this band's members went on to play in a band called "The Heroes". The members were tinson, the bassist, and the drummer. I heard one of their songs and it was very good!

[edit] Why they split up

I heard a rumor that they split up because one (Or two, Considering that their drummer and lead guitarist left at the same time) of their members was/were injured but I do not know if this is true.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.21.71.9 (talk) 20:51, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] We should have a music sample here.

Yes, We should have some samples of their music here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.117.146.21 (talk) 13:27, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wildilife Single

Was that a typo? I think the "Wildlife" Single is actually their "Wildfire" Single. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.21.83.6 (talk) 03:51, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] When they broke up

I have heard rumors of when Rabbit broke up. I heard one saying they broke up as late as 1979, But it is not confirmed. They may have broken up anywhere from 1977 to 1979. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.21.83.6 (talk) 18:49, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

___

I found out that they bropke up in 1978, Not 1977. You can read it here:

[edit] Their original name

You can find it here:

http://marktinson.iansandercoe.com/

They were originally called "The Cherries" But the date of when they formed rabbit is not correct. They were known as rabbit in late 1974. Their promo video for "Lady la Di Da" Proves that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.21.73.43 (talk) 03:35, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Actual video interviews with the band

Someone on youtube has uploaded interviews with the band! They are mixed in with videos of the band playing live.

The videos are here:

Pt. 1

Pt. 2

Pt. 3

http://youtube.com/watch?v=sBEluNKxHas&feature=PlayList&p=9AE8BA7ED08449B3&index=2

Near the end of the first part, Bassist Jim Porteus reveals that "Lady la Di Da" Is a cover! The band that made the song was a Swedish band. I couldn't understand the name exactly, But I think he said the name of the band was "In Cue Bee". Lady la Di Da was, however, "Changed around a bit, Rabbitized.."

Update, The person's youtube account was suspended. 98.21.73.43 (talk) 22:11, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
