Use this template in redirect pages where you could normally used {{R from alternative name}} where the tagged page will be added to category:1632 series redirects, a sub-category of the alternative named redirects Category:Redirects from alternative names.

Specify {{{1}}}, to pipetrick the categorisation, such as is normal for a template.

The template {{1632 redirect}} is a shortend name alias of this template, and can be used as well in it's place.
