The Lockheed XR6O-1 Constitution (BuNo. 85163) arrives at the Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida (USA) on 27 September 1949. This aircraft made many trips to NAS Jacksonville. The U.S. Navy accepted two XR6O-1 in 1946/47, 85163 first flew 9 Nov 1946. They were operated by transport squadron VR-44 up to 1955. |
