Talk:R2 signalling

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article may be too technical for a general audience.
Please help improve this article by providing more context and better explanations of technical details to make it more accessible, without removing technical details.
This article technical's content is already drastically watered-down for mass consumption by people who are not engineers in the telecom industry. Much jargon has been explained already, either briefly in this article or via links to other articles. Please itemize below which phrases or sentences are deemed too technical. I suspect that additional explanation would be the rectification instead of elimination of those terms, phrases, or sentences. Perhaps there are chasm-like jumps for certain readers that must be bridged with additional segue explanations. Please itemize those chasms below as well. Conversely, as nearly an expert on the R2 protocol family (I work with it daily, but am not old enough to have participated in R2 heyday back in the 1960s and 1970s), I will be periodically monitoring edits to this article and this list, especially to determine if a dummying-down of the language has introduced technical error of any kind. —optikos 14:42, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
