R-Kal Truluck (born September 30, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York) is a defensive tackle for the Georgia Force of the Arena Football League. R-Kal Truluck's full name is "R-Kal K-Quan Truluck", which translates to "Ruler of the Lake" in Swahili.
After starring at Division III Cortland State (SUNY Cortland), he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. In his rookie year, 2002, he played in six games, recording one sack and eight total tackles. The following year was his highest achieving thus far. In fourteen games of the 2003 season, he recorded twelve tackles and five sacks. Truluck was known during his time in Kansas City for providing an effective pass rush on third downs, and for his boisterous celebrations.
During preseason in 2004, he was traded to the Green Bay Packers for a fifth and a sixth round draft choice. Over the course of the year, he played in only six games, notching one sack and seven tackles. He was cut by the Packers, and signed with the Arizona Cardinals prior to the 2005 season. In seven games with the Cardinals, he managed only three tackles and no sacks. 2005 was his last NFL season to date. He played the 2006 season in the Canadian Football League with the Montreal Alouettes. Previous experience included the AFL's Detroit Fury (2001-2002) On November 28, 2007, Truluck was signed by the Georgia Force of the Arena Football League for the 2008 season.
