[edit] additions to Category:Recyclable materials

Hi, Have you discussed the additions you are making to this category with anyone? While the items you are adding are recyclable, they aren't really "material". Realistically, are you going to add every article about things made of paper (a material) to this category? Maybe you should discuss the subject with the folks at Wikipedia:WikiProject Environment before going too much farther. --Versageek 06:38, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Redlinks

The redlinks I removed were links that were unlikely to have their own article. I've been trying to improve the film article for over a year, and there's no effort that's been made to create articles about these people. This is usually the case with producers and editors as well as writers or cinematographers with only a small background. I suppose it's a judgment call, but from my experience, seeing FAC processes and general article upkeep, a wiki-link should generally already exist for a given topic. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 03:54, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Sorry to revert you again, but "in film" is not generally inserted into a full date, it's usually appropriate to write out United States instead of abbreviating USA, and languages are widely wiki-linked. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 14:03, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Unredirecting articles

Hello, I noticed that on the ninth, you restored the article on King Dedede from a redirect to an article. Please note that under this ruling, all articles on characters of a television show or an article about one of the shows episodes must stay in the form that they were on 2:07, February 3, 2008 UTC. Please do not unredirect any articles that violate this injunction. Even though there was a discussion about the articles, the articles cannot be redirected until the injunction is lifted, regardless of the outcome. Thank you. seresin | wasn't he just...? 14:14, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Great job

Great job on the example on the family name template, would you consider doing the same on the template for given names ("Template:Infobox Given name 2")? Also do you have any interest in joining the Anthroponymy Wikiproject? Remember (talk) 15:45, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Mats (name)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Mats (name), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Mats. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 22:35, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently copied the contents of a page and pasted it into another with a different name. Specifically, you copied the contents of Mats (name) This is what we call a "cut and paste move", and it is very undesirable because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. The mechanism we use for renaming articles is to move it to a new name which both preserves the page's history and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves to request the move by another. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you.
