Quinn in the A.M. was a popular show on cable television in the Southeast US in the mid 1990's. The show originated in Melbourne, Florida. Hosted by A.M. Quinn, a professional fisherman/adventurer and television personality. Quinn traveled throughout Southeastern US, visited unique tourist attractions, participated in outdoors adventures and interviewed "true American originals" with a distinct blend of wit and sensitivity. Popular episodes showed Quinn swimming with sharks in the Bahamas, joining a nude bowling league, wrestling an alligator and touring "Splendid China," a now-defunct and unusual tourist attraction in Orlando, Florida that recreated historical and picaresque sites in miniature. This episode featured Quinn repeatedly exclaiming with his signature Southern drawl, "It's China, but it's tiny." A.M. Quinn became popular and known for his self-effacing, "good ole' boy" winsome personality. After an article in Palm Beach magazine featured photos of his muscular physique, he was voted one of Florida's most eligible bachelors in 2000.

In 2001, A.M. Quinn created the travel, adventure show, Reel America, for Fox Television. The show was not picked up by the network but was revived three years later by an independent television producer.
