Quiet Bill is a fictional character, a mutant in the Marvel Comics Universe. His first appearance was in Gambit (3rd series) #3.
[edit] Fictional character biography
A mutant who can open portals between dimensions, Quiet Bill was discovered by the X-Men named Gambit and the mutant known as Courier living in the alley dubbed "Onslaught Alley".
Coming to the notice of the enigmatic New Son, Courier was employed to retrieve Quiet Bill and his friend Huey. The New Son sought to employ Bill's talent to find a dimension that he could escape to should his plan fail.
Bill and Huey were apparently trapped between dimensions when the New Son's Crystal Cathedral was seemingly destroyed. However, with Bill's ability to open portals, it is likely they managed to escape.
[edit] Endangered Species and Death
Apparently, Quiet Bill lost his powers during the M-Day. His luck ran out in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Riptide of the Marauders made it into the same elevator Quiet Bill had entered. There he murdered Quiet Bill[1].
