[edit] Badgers?
Um... wife of a reigning badger? That's vandalism, right? Bnovack 16:52, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Regents Should Be Removed
People listed as regents should be remove. If they're regents, they're regents, not Queen regnants. 24.14.120.92 04:08, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
Isn't this list redundant when there is a category as well? --Peacenik 11:01, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Russian Queen Regnant
Why aren;'t there any Russian Queen Regnants? There were quite a few of them, from Olga (who might be technically controversial) to Elizabeth to Catherine II. I can't edit Wiki very well, so I'll put in the names, maybe someone can help me syntax it?
Because they were techincally empresses Yanksta x 10:05, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Technically you're right. However also technically, the word queen was never used in Russia nor in any country outside of Western Europe (Czarina, Pharaoh) - each of these is slightly different. I was interpreting "queen" to mean female head of state in a monarchy. At least, thats the best universal definition I can currently think of. If you think of anything, please get back to me. [edit] Aceh
Err, anybody have sources about these queens? I am not sure that all of them are regent queen. Draconins 09:46, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Boudica?
Should she be on the list somewhere? --Dante Alighieri | Talk 22:48, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
I always thought of her as more of a tribal chieftain than a queen, but her article calls her a queen, so maybe that's the consensus among people who know more about the subject than I do. If so, yeah, she should probably be added. Ştefan 19:17, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
While we are on the topic, what about the Queen of Sheba? Crypticfirefly 15:09, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Grand Duchess of Luxemberg?
Should Marie-Adélaïde and Charlotte be on the list? --Oh~my goDnesS 04:40, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Louise-Hippolyte of Monaco
Louise-Hippolyte, Princess of Monaco was the soverign Princess of Monaco, equivalant to a queen regnant.
[edit] Order of list
Why is the list ordered such? Currently, it starts with Scotland/England/UK, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Spain... and ends in Persia/Iran. Can we alphabetize instead? I do see a little difficulty in alphabetizing, regarding those countries that are listed under multiple names (such as Scotland/England/etc.), but I think it would be better to have some semblance of order than none at all. schi talk 20:14, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] POV
Queen Liliuokalani is described as "a pretender to the throne" after her forced abdication, which seems a rather non-neutral description. I'm changing that line to make it work better.134.82.108.5 21:02, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
