Talk:Queen's University (disambiguation)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
When I first looked at the page Queen's University today, it was a disambiguation page. On examining Whatlinkshere/Queen's University, I found about 45 articles of which only 6 referred to the Belfast establishment. I have adjusted those 6 articles and moved the disambig page.
The situation now is:
- Queen's University (disambiguation) exists with appropriate links
- Queen's University redirects to Queen's University, Canada
Note that Queen's University, Belfast tends to speak of itself using all three words or abbreviated as QUB. So the incidence of new edits causing false links is likely to be small.

Given that there are two Queen's Universities, should we not move Queen's University, Canada to "Queen's University at Kingston", since that is what the Canadian one calls itself? Ground Zero 13:10, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC), an alumnus of QUaK.
- If Queen's University is just a redirect it is better to simply move Queen's University, Canada to Queen's University and dispense with the disambiguation altogether. - SimonP 19:41, Apr 14, 2005 (UTC)
Please do not direct this to Queen's University Canada. (Belfast is more known internationally, at least in Asia) Icecafe (talk) 22:14, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
