There was no entity called the "province of Quebec" in 1759. The area had been called "Canada" or "New France", and was not called "Quebec" until 1774 with the Quebec Act. The town must have been named for the city Quebec, not the province. Joeldl 23:00, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
