[edit] Fair use rationale for Songs for the Deaf

This image, Queens deaf 2.jpg is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I, Broken soul 11:47, 14 June 2007 (UTC) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

  • It is a low resolution copy of an LP album cover;
  • It does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the LP album in any way;
  • It illustrates only the topic in question (featured only in the article);
  • The image is not used for profit - only for demonstration and/or illustrative purposes;
  • Copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the album artwork on another LP;
  • The image on the cover is significant because it was made by a famous artist, Queens of the Stone Age.
