This article does not help understanding what QMS really is, and it is not putting a whole list of (not so) related topics that will help :-( Anthère

I don't understand the reference to the smiling girl.

I also don't understand the reference to QMS in medical devices... this makes it look like QMS is not applicable to other organisations.

My understanding is that QMS is heavily rooted in the manufacturing sector and may therefore also apply (but is not limited to) manufacturers of medical devices. As one person mentioned above, QMS has been expanded to cover the servce sector too.

Finally, I think this article needs to explain more about the importance of Deming and his contribution to Quality management.

Quality can't be that complicated, and you must need brains and decent communication skills to understand it fully. Please use those brains and communication skills to help the rest of us.

From my interpretation of the article, QMS is about setting out processes for the creation and/or implementation of a finished product. That finished product could be anything from a "mass-produced biscuit" to "building a garage". Correct me where I am wrong, then correct the article.... 82.0.206.215 (talk) 22:36, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
