The Links at Quarry Oaks is a Championship layout designed by Les Furber of Golf Design Services out of Canmore, Alberta. The original eighteen holes meander through stands of oak and poplar before winding its way through the remains of an old quarry. In July of 1998, The Desert Nine opened for play. Also designed by Les Furber, it is aptly named as it will remind all that play it of the Desert courses found in Phoenix and Palm Springs.

Quarry Oaks has four sets of tee boxes that can accommodate all skill levels. The yardage's range from the difficulty of the Black tees at 7009 yards to the manageable Gold tees at 5422 yards. Realizing that there are golfers participating in tournaments that are beginners, Quarry Oaks developed the Green Tee system. All the par fours and par fives have a Green Tee sign that has been placed approximately half way down the length of these holes. If golfers find the course too long or if they feel they are holding up their playing partners, they can play from the Green Tees which provide a course length that matches their skill level making their golfing experience much more enjoyable.
