I took this photo of a Qashqai shepherd with flock, on May 9, 2007, on the main highway between Yazd and Shiraz, in Iran. It was just minutes before we crossed the pass, whose proper name I can't find, but our guide called it "Gypsy-Killing Pass" (yes, I'm horrified and offended, but am including it anyway for the sake of identifying the location).
