On a Google Test that I ran, "Qalqilya" garnered 236,000 hits, while the current article name, "Qalqilyah," only got 32,000 hits. Unless there is a compelling reason to keep this spelling, I think we should move it. 129.98.198.50 04:51, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
To the contrary, there is absolutely no sense in the spelling "Qalqilyah". There is no "h" at the end of the city name in arabic, which is written QLQYLYA (قلقيلية) in this language. And, as you said, it does not even have the privilege to be of majority use... Jibrîl 14:11, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- Many scholars in the Universities (not only USA or UK) use transliterate the "ta marbutah" with an "h". --Cloj 12:17, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
