Retinal disorders affect the important tissue in the back of the eye that processes light and transmits images to your brain. In the midst of this nerve tissue is the macula which provides the sharp, centralized vision needed for seeing intricate detail.

Retinal disorders are serious enough to have long term affects your vision, and in extreme cases even cause blindness.
