Do you like "PYE" ? Are you a "PYE" Man ? Do you like the shape of the badge ?

My recollection is that during the 1950's Pye produced a high quality record player called the "Black Box." It came out around the time that high quality classical records became available on LP. Before component hi-fi spread it was the top choice for anyone interested in classical music.
