Pressurized Water Reactor of the nuclear passanger and cargo ship NS Savannah. Designed and built by the Babcock and Wilcox Company. Nuclear fuel is in the square-shaped fuel elements in the central region of the reactor vessel. The rods that extend up through the vessel head are control rods.
