[edit] Multiplayer goofiness?

While playing in the Classic Mode multiplayer, I occasionally got a simple 2-chain or 3-chain (I think somethimes a 1-chain even) and the game gave my opponent a whole lot of nusiance puyos, way more than usual. It's happened the other way around, too (me and my opponent have both gotten creamed for no reason.) --Libertyernie2 23:03, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

This is probably due to some sort of signal quality issue (Wireless, most likely DS version) or a packet (On a PC with poor internet) related problem. It should have some method to check that the packets are correct (checksums), but this may vary between platforms. In other words, it's probably simply something that was overlooked, or a trade off for speed, rather than an actual bug... Don't quote me on it though, I don't do much network programming anymore. Anyways, If you're suggesting something is added to the article, try to find a (reliable) source. Original Research does not work for Wikipedia. 24.192.199.46 (talk) 18:40, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Carbuncle

I tried to unlock Carbuncle on the GCN version, and I got to him (w/ cutscene and everything, i.e. not using the glitch) but when I lost and quit, he was not unlocked. Is "You can lose and still unlock him" true only for the glitch or is it just plain false? --Libertyernie2 00:27, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

--SeizureDog 20:50, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 15th Anniversary Edition

A link to the download site for the 15th Anniversary Edition would be useful. I have been unable to locate a site that offers the game for free. Is the game still being offered for free? All of the sites that offer the game charge you to download it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Causality-GT (talk • contribs) 21:38, 16 April 2007 (UTC).

I don't think that it is available at all times. I know this is really old but I thought I'd leave the note for anyone wondering. 24.192.199.46 (talk) 18:44, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
