Puthupally Palli

Puthupally St. George Valiya Palli (Puthupally Palli) is one of the prominent churches of Malankara Syrian Orthodox Church. It is situated at Puthupally. The present church was consecrated & dedicated to the name of St. George about 250 years ago by the Malankara Metropolitan (Valiya) Mar Dianasiyous. It is believed that the Puthuppally church was established in the year 1640 (AD) by the rulers of ThekkumKoor. It is currently managed by the Malankara Orthodox Church.[1]
