The Purple-breasted Cotinga (Cotinga cotinga) is a species of bird in the Cotingidae family. It is found in Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
