Puran is a tehsil of Shangla District of North Western Frontier Province in Pakistan. Aloch is the headquarters of the tehsil. Puran tehsil comprises 9 Union Councils.

Tehsil Puran of district Shangla is a beautiful place and its boundaries meet Bunier, Swat, Kaladakha, River Indus. [1].
