[edit] Your request for adminship
Hi, Nathan! I just saw your RfA (request for adminship) and would like to urge you to withdraw it. Most editors will not support a candidate who has less than 2,000 edits, and unfortunately, you have only 20. Your work here is very much valued and some day I hope you can become an administrator; you certainly have the enthusiasm necessary! :) However, RFA can be a grueling, stressful, and difficult process, and I don't think you need to put yourself through it at this point: your chances of succeeding are extremely low. Again, you are a great editor and I hope to see you around more, but you're just not ready to become an administrator. Please keep up the great work and drop me a line if you ever need anything! [edit] Australian Retail Outlets Wikiproject
Hi Nathannoblet. I have proposed the deletion of your Australian Retail Outlets Wikiproject. The most obvious problem is that you've created this as a Wikipedia article. WikiProjects should not be created in article space, they should instead be created in the Wikipedia space. Please take a look at the instructions for WikiProjects for more details. Its also unclear to me that this makes sense as a WikiProject, especially as you haven't got anyone interested yet. The best way to organize this might be to look at who is editing relevant articles and ask them if they'd be interested in forming a WikiProject. Is there really enough work to be organized that this needs a whole separate WikiProject? Anyway, good luck, Gwernol 15:44, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your RfA
Hi Nathan, I am writing to let you know that I have closed your request for adminship as it was becoming a pile on. To be honest, given your very low number of edtis, it should have been removed earlier as you had no chance of passing. I am sure you will make a good administrator in the future, but you need to take the time to get to know the way Wikipedia works and demonstrate that you are capable of carrying out admin-type tasks effectively. I would strongly advise waiting until you have at least a couple of thousand edits and three more months experience before running again, the criteria for adminship are quite high. If you have any questions, or ever require any assistance, please feel free to ask me. I hope to see you around, Rje 15:53, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hazelwood North
Please don't re-add the list of minor facilities (that's the correct spelling, by the way) to the Hazelwood North article. These are so minor that they really do not belong in an encyclopedia article. Thanks, Gwernol 15:33, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject Australia template
Please add the {{WP Australia}} template to article talk pages only thanks. As the template is also used for article assessments, it helps keep all assessments uniform and keeps the articles themselves from becoming too cluttered with unencyclopedic information. -- Longhair 07:47, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
Ok Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nathannoblet (talk • contribs)
- That said, thanks for joining the project. We need plenty of help with adding the template to Australia-related talk pages. I won't stop you there :) -- Longhair 07:49, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Talk page blanking
Some editors disapprove of completely blanking talk pages as you have recently done. I've restored your talk page for now in case there's items you wish to archive. Please see Wikipedia:How to archive a talk page. If there's anything else you'd like some assistance with, please don't hesitate to ask. -- Longhair 08:03, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
