Talk:Punjabi culture

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Excellent article. However, more Era's need to be mentioned like between 1000BC-500AD--Indian50 19:29, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Much of this article is misinterpretation and inaccuracy. While it's okay to talk about the history of the Punjab region, to call everyone who ever lived there a "Punjabi" is false. The Punjabi language was born in around the 10-11th century, so that would be the beginning of the modern Punjabi people as we know them today. Anything before that is undifferentiated. For example the name "Punjab" is from the 16th century. Tuncrypt 12:44, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
