[edit] Puni and Punia

I think Puni and Punia clans of Jats are the same. Jat being much more ancient clan can not be a originated from Rajput. So this theory is wrong. Reverse is the truth. Many Jat clans merged in to Rajput fold at the time of Agnikula ceremony in seventh century. burdak 05:45, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
