[edit] Should not be a subcategory of anything purely Indian

It's fine for Category:Punjab (India) to be a subcat of Category:States and territories of India. But this category (like Bengal), is not one of those - it is a historical region now divided between two countries. Asia seems a bit short of "region" categories compared with America, for example, but there is Category:South Asia - and going in the "world" direction there is Category:Divided regions. I think it should be in both and not in Category:States and territories of India. Robin Patterson 14:00, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
