As of 2001 India census[1], Pul Pehlad had a population of 47,336. Males constitute 56% of the population and females 44%. Pul Pehlad has an average literacy rate of 63%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 51%. In Pul Pehlad, 19% of the population is under 6 years of age.
