I'm not sure this is the right place for a tangental discussion on what the medal of honor is, and the anecdote about Patton and Roosevelt. That's more about the medal than Pueblo. Hondje 03:09, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I agree... I considered removing the text during my last edit, but decided against it at the last minute... Cperko 12:08, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Addition of City Infobox

Being that Pueblo is the fourth/fifth largest city in Colorado, I think we need to add a template for those that live in Pueblo to edit for information on the city (much like that which is seen in both the Colorado Springs and Denver articles. I do not know enough about Pueblo to fill in the stats so I have not placed the template. It can be found by editing the forms in either city page. [edit] There

are various references to a "Pueblo Springs, Colorado". Is there, factually, such a place?

Thank You.

no, there is not. North of pueblo, there is a COLORADO Springs. thats the closest thing.

Part of the recent annex-land on what is now McCulloch Ranch has been refered to as "Pueblo Springs" but I have no idea if there's anything official about that name. See "http://www.chieftain.com/editorial/1196129070/1" Cperko (talk) 23:13, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Just to clairafy. The Pueblo Springs ranch is 28 square miles of ranch land bought by a Las Vegas devlopment company that wants to devlop it. The city of Pueblo has already annexed a larriet aroound it and is working on annexing the rest of it and should be done this year. Acording to the 2007 econimic outlook by C.U. in Boulder it will have aproxmintly 70,000 houses or 200,000 people thus making it one of the largest planned couminties in the country. Also, acording to the Pueblo Chieftain it will spur devlopemt in unincorportied Pueblo county that lies between the Pueblo Springs ranch and the current city limits of Pueblo. That could include a business park focusing on scientific based companies. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Josseppie (talkcontribs) 21:23, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Oh dear...

Wow our little city is pathetic. People are scrounging up information about it. We are scraping the barrel and still it sounds pathetic. What other City Wiki talks about its airport as a fun place to visit. This city is doomed. It went from the 3rd largest city in Pueblo, to the 9th in only 10 years. How pathetic is that. Pueblo is not doomed, in fact it has one of the brighest futures of any city on the front range. Mainly due to 3 factors: water, land, and location. Pueblo has the most available water of any major city in colorado with the most land to devlop and the best location (highway 50 and I-25 intercect in Pueblo as well as major railroads and finally two rivers). Pueblo did drop in the 20th centruy due to many factors most of which have been fixed and even C.U. Forecasts Pueblo to grow a lot in the 21st century stating so in their economic forcast for the region. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Josseppie (talkcontribs) 21:34, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Laugh In

It is Dan Rowan who came from Pueblo, not Dick Martin.
