[edit] Private investigation

This is now the legal term for an apparent legal procedure by process servers. Chris 06:43, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

What do you mean? Do you have a citation for this? Gothnic 06:44, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Just learned of it tonight and was kind of shocked, will try to source. Chris 07:55, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Why don't they use humiliation as punishment in the U.S.?

I think that instead of jail, and all of the other punishments, we should humiliate them. Here is how it should work: The person does crime. Then he should have to pay for the damage, (if robbery), apologize (if minor crime). If he has commited murder, than the person should have to go to the family and friends, for 5 hours. The first hour he must apologize, and say how he did it. Then for the next 4 hours, the family is allowed to hurt or humiliate him or her in any way they like (except for killing him).

Next the person should have to do community service, for 3 months. Afterwords he must get a badge that says everything he has ever done bad.

After, he must go to a new "job", where he is trained how to be good.

Next he will go to work for the rest of his life as a part-time cow dung remover, and part-timesewage treater.
