Talk:Public Health - Seattle & King County

[edit] "CDC - West"
Cut from article:
PHSKC has a growing reputation as the "CDC - West" for its internationally-recognized work on communicable diseases and epidemiology.
A claim like that blatantly needs a citation. It had none. If someone authoritative can be cited as saying this, fine. - Jmabel | Talk 00:25, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Firland Sanatorium
Certainly the Firland Sanatorium (at two successive locations), instrumental in defeating tuberculosis in and around Seattle in the early-to-mid-20th century deserves discussion, and probably an article of its own. Does anyone have a good source on it? There some half-decent material in the 1950 Peterson-Davenport book cited in the article (p. 85–87) but not really enough to go on. - Jmabel | Talk 01:08, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
