Ptychadena wadei is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is endemic to Ethiopia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, rivers, and intermittent freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
