[edit] Spam in Idea (magazine)
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Idea (magazine), by WWGB (talk ยท contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Idea (magazine) is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Idea (magazine), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Idea (magazine) itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 11:10, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Advice?
Ptrblk, I have been trying very hard over the past month (or two) to make Wikipedia a more reliable source of design information. Is it worth the energy? OatmealSmith 16:40, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
OatmealSmith, I looked at the pages you made and was impressed by the number of design related pages created. Well done. As you can tell I am quite new to WP, so I was starting slowly. My intention was to correct the Dot Dot Dot contribution (I am one of the founding editors), and to create entries for other design journals. That's why I created Idea magazine entry, if you know the magazine, you only have to agree with the importance of inclusion of the magazine - it is the inspiration behind many other journals including Dot Dot Dot. I am sorry I didn't have many facts to include, I was going to contact the publishers to get some. So i think it is too early to delete the page.
