Greetings,

I have been trying to add the entry "Munge" into Wikipedia for some time now, but someone keeps calling me a vandal and linking it back to "Mung".

The last time, It appears to have been flagged as needing proper formatting. OK, I'll buy that - It's not as nicely formatted as the rest of Wiki.

Are all contributors required to become expert Wiki editors for the information they submit? If so, Wiki's growth and content will be limited to that of those with editing skills.

Many information contributors don't have the talent or time to learn the formatting here. Their contributions will not become part of this database, and everyone loses access to that knowledge. How good would a recipe site be if the cooks were required to learn a complex formatting syntax to publish their recipes? The most gifted chef may be lacking the technical talent to publish his work, thus no one will benefit from his gift.

I think my contribution is of great use to the cyber community. Passwords are the keys to cyberspace. I have been "Mungeing" passwords for several years now. The the need for people to learn this is getting greater, as hacking techniques improve.

If someone would be gracious enough to format this page correctly, it would be a great benefit for all people that use passwords. If more information is needed, or more technical detail is required please contact me at one.real.gentleman@gmail.com
