- The first few were comparatively decent, but Ptolemy IV marked the beginning of a pronounced slide into indecency.
- OK, snarkiness aside, they were actually of Macedonian ancestry. The founder of the dynasty, Ptolemy I Soter, was one of the generals of Alexander the Great. JamesMLane t c 22:37, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
