  • Acre (Israel) - named for the Macedonian Ptolemy who became Ptolemy I Soter
  • Ptolemais Hermiou (Egypt) - Greek colony established by Ptolemy I Soter

Ptolemais was also the name of a daughter of Ptolemy I Soter
