I have reverted your edits to the village articles. Please find below the reasons:

  • Please do not remove stub templates like {{TamilNadu-geo-stub}}. Please see WP:STUB. They help give visibility to these articles.
  • Please do not remove cleanup tags and orphan tags. They are there for a purpose. To let others know the articles needs some cleanup.

If you would like to categorize all villages articles under their respective district. Simply add the district category. But these show up as red links. You will have create the category by clicking the red link and adding "Category:Villages in Tamil Nadu" to the text. This will make that category parent for all the district level categories.
