I maintain that the statement was out of place in the article, as it was about the Proxima, not about the Sun. As you can see, that the Sun is a star is mentioned in the first sentence of the Sun article. (And the statement was way too informal, as "a sun" - unlike "a star" - does not have a defined meaning in astronomy.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 08:03, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
