Talk:Provinces of Kazakhstan

[edit] Cite, cite, cite...
Is there any source for the data? The reason that I don't trust it too much is the data for the following areas:
- Pavlodar: 128,000 (km2)
- Qaraghandy: 85,000 (km2)
Yet if you look at the map, Qaraghandy looks a lot bigger than Pavlodar.
There should be sources somewhere. --Tphcm 10:13, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
- geohive offers different figures. Maybye someone could add these. --Hardscarf 19:17, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Things need to do
- Add better population from Geohive
- Integrate two cities into the table
- Add "1, 2, 3" to match with the map.
- Possibly add Kazakh names (Just in Russian is ridiculous)
Clean up the picture.

[edit] Difference in maps?
I've noticed that the map on this page is different to the maps on the pages for the single provinces -- in particular the provinces numbered 3, 10, 12 and 13. (For example, click "Akmola" in the list of provinces, and note the different borders.) OMHalck 23:37, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
