There are several pages like this on Wikipedia, and there is a general consensus that such "list pages" are acceptable. The matter has been discussed extensively on afd.

I tend to agree. Articles like this have been accepted as legitimate when discussing the candidates on elections at the national level. Provincial may or may not be a different matter, but that should be determined by consensus at AfD. As such, I have declined the speedy request. Please go to AfD if you wish to challenge. thanks!
