Talk:Profit (TV series)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Is Profit really the same genre as Sopranos and 24? Are Sopranos and 24 really in the same genre? Hackwrench 01:06, 31 March 2006 (UTC) Changed them to two shows closer in genre Hackwrench 13:43, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- Neither The Pretender nor John Doe had a main character who was a villain. How do you justify placing them in the same genre? -
Anybody been watching Dexter ? I'd put that in the same class.

[edit] Deleted "Rumination." (a professional psychological profile, in fact)
WP:NOR. I mean, that's just blatant. --MattShepherd 18:07, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Date of airings
On IMDB, it lists that the last 4 episodes did eventually air, but about a year and a half after the first four originally aired. [1] Does anyone have any information if this is correct or not? If it is, the episodes chart should probably be updated to reflect it. Cardsplayer4life 06:14, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- IMDB's list has the original US air dates (on Fox TV) for the first 4 eps. The last 4 eps did not air in the US in 1997 because Fox canceled the show. IMDB's dates for the final 4 eps are for a non-US airing in 1997. Cf. http://www.adrianpasdartributesite.com/category/profit/
[edit] Changed "moving box" to "shipping box"
As stated in the dialogue, Profit's father bought everything in the house from G&G. The box is a leftover shipping carton from one of those deliveries. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.101.37.96 (talk) 10:06, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Profitdvd.jpg
Image:Profitdvd.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
