Proxis is an online store, founded in the year 1997.^[1] The head office is located in Zaventem, Belgium, where 15 to 40 people are operative. Proxis sells English, Dutch and French books, CDs, DVDs, games, and supplies. Proxis is the Belgian market leader in the field of online shops and ships her products worldwide.

Proxis is a division of Club NV, the book and paper ware store with branches located all over Belgium. In 2006 Proxis and Club became a subsidiary of Distripar, an enterprise of Wallonian entrepreneur Albert Frère.
