Provia is a name of a daylight-balanced colour reversal film (slide film) produced by the Japanese film company Fujifilm. It is currently available in 100/21° and 400/27° speeds, labelled '100F' and '400F', respectively.
Provia 100F is also noted for its excellent reciprocity characteristics. It requires no exposure or color correction for exposures less than 2 minutes, a mark only matched by Fujifilm's Neopan 100 Acros B&W Film.
A new 400 ISO version labelled '400X' is becoming available in mid 2007. It features higher colour saturation and finer grain than the '400F' product as well as improved 'pushing' characteristics, being suitable for exposures at EI's as high as 3200.
