Prostitution in Palestine is illegal. Ramallah is one of the few outlets for prostitution in Palestine as premarital sex is still seen as taboo in the country.[1]

A sizable gay community in Palestine exists, but many are forced to pimp themselves as rent boys, flee the country, or engage in prostitution in neighboring countries such as Israel and Lebanon.[2]
