Proliphix

Founded in 2004, Proliphix develops and manufactures inexpensive Internet-enabled thermostats for use in the residential and light commercial industries. Most Proliphix thermostats are used for energy management by multi-tenant property or corporate facilities managers, hospitality administrators, retail franchise owners, as well as electric utility energy curtailment initiatives. Proliphix makes the only stand-alone Internet Protocol (IP) controllable thermostats on the market today^{[citation needed]}. The thermostats employ an embedded web server which serves up a graphical interface (GUI) accessible by most of today’s web browser programs. Users do not require an onsite computer, only broadband Internet access, to manage property climate control functions from a computer anywhere in the world.

Proliphix is a privately-held company headquartered in Westford, Mass.
