Proletarsk

Proletarsk (Russian: Пролета́рск) is a town in Rostov Oblast, Russia, located at 46°42′11″N, 41°43′9″E, on the Rostov-Baku Line. The Manych River flows through the city. Population: 19,572 (2002 Census). It was formerly the Cossack stanitsa of Velikoknyazheskaya. The Soviet science fiction writer, G. P. Amatuni, was born there in 1916.
