Project Cumulus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Project Cumulus was a UK government project in the 1950s that was investigating weather manipulation especially through cloud seeding. The project itself was closed down in 1952 after the Lynmouth flood disaster occurred days after a seeding experiment was carried out over Southern England. There are also rumours that the official documents were deliberately destroyed, certainly some classified documents are missing.[1]
